Simphony POS | Upgrade Olo Service Version by Brand

Description of issue:

How do I upgrade the version of my Olo Simphony integration for all of my stores?

Solution:

The solution is to set the override version in the Olo Dashboard. The Olo Service Updater Service will read this default and handle the upgrade.

Steps to implement:

Step 1

Login in to the Olo Dashboard

Step 2

Select the Brand Menu on the left side of the screen:

Step 3

Select POS Version Mgmt:

Step 4

Click the Edit for the Default Simphony Version:

Step 5

Select the desired version (the most current general release version is recommended after lab testing of this version):

Step 6

Confirm Default Simphony Version (Note - you may reset the overridden store versions if you want):

Step 7

Confirmation that the default version is set for all stores (Note - it will take the store s a few minutes to upgrade to this version. It is recommended to check back about 30 minutes later to see if all stores have upgraded).

Caveats: Test version in lab before implementing it in a store.
