EXPO: Early Fire Functionality


 

Description

Brands that have "Schedule All Advanced Orders" set to "No" will be able to Early Fire future orders from the Expo Tablet. If a brand has "Schedule All Advanced Orders" set to "Yes" then future orders will not display in the tablet to be Early Fired.

Procedure

There are two processes for Early Firing orders based on the original fire time of the order:

 

Within Eight Hours of Original Fire Time

1. Navigate to an order > click on Actions > click on Early Fire

2. A confirmation popup will display.

3. Upon clicking Start Order Early a success banner will display and the order will move to Active

4. Early Firing the order will update the Done time to reflect the difference between the new Fire time and the make time. The customer will not be notified of this change.

 

More than Eight Hours from Original Fire Time

1. Navigate to an order > click on Actions > click on Early Fire

3. Upon clicking Start Order Early, an Expo user will need to enter a PIN.

4. Upon entering a PIN, a success banner will display and the order will move to Active

Note concerning Expo Users:

To learn more about Expo users, please see this article. This feature is intended to prevent people from early firing too early. Since it is not considered a high-risk action, it does not have explicit permission on the Expo user level. Any Expo user with a PIN can perform this action.
