The purpose of this article is to bring awareness of a POS connectivity issue that can affect multiple POS systems. It will also provide details of how to confirm this common issue and how to get it resolved.
If a vendor is reporting that they are having connectivity issues coming online and the firewall has been completely ruled out, the Olo log needs to be viewed for specific reoccurring error messages.

This issue can stem from the brand's external IPs being blocked by Olo's firewalls, such as an IP reporting in a country not allowed by an Olo firewall.
