Toast POS: Enabling Location for Olo

Technical Teams, Customer Success Specialists, Client's POS programmer      

Description of task:

In order to connect a location from Olo to Toast, Olo must be enabled through Toast's Partner Connect Portal, and have the Menu Export enabled under the Data Export Screen. This article will describe how to enable a location so that Olo can get the location connected.

Steps to implement:

Use the article below from the Toast website to enable a location for Olo through Toast's Partner Connect.

Once the location is enabled, go to the "Data Export" screen, and Enable the "Menu JSON Export" as seen below:

After this has been completed, Toast should notify the Olo Technical Specialist - POS team that the location has been enabled. However, it is best practice to make your Specialist aware of the new location in case this communication is either not sent or is missed.
