POSitouch: Menu Mapping Instructions

Audience:

Menu Administrators, POS Specialists, Technical Teams

Items

Items can be mapped in two different ways:

  1. Item ID only (also referred to as Inventory Number)
    • Format: [item ID]

  2. Item screen,cell
    • Format: [item screen],[cell]

If an item exists as a modifier and as an a la carte item within the database, then [item screen],[cell] mapping must be used. [item screen],[cell] mapping can also be used when this is not the case.

Modifiers

With POSitouch, modifiers can be mapped in one of two ways depending on the database setup:

  1. Modifier ID only (also referred to as Inventory Number)
    • Format: [modifier ID]
  2. Modifier screen,cell
    • Format: [modifier screen],[cell]

Modifier ID: The specific ID number that corresponds to a modifier. For example, American Cheese (34), Sausage (11), or Brown Rice (9).
