The Menu Audit Log gives restaurant brands the ability to see a full history of menu updates, who is making them, how often, and the specific change details.
Previously, these reports had to be generated by contacting our Support Team but now you have the capability built right into Dashboard. The Menu Audit Log tool will appear for all users with Brand Manager permissions. If your account has access, you'll be able to access the Menu Audit Log right from the Dashboard homepage.
To start, click on the Menu Audit Log button along the left-hand side of the homepage.
Once in the Menu Audit Log, you'll be able to view a list of menu edits made on both the company menu and vendor menus. Details include:
- Edit date and time (in local time)
- Type of edit (company menu or vendor menu)
- Action that was performed
- Manager that performed the action
- Stores affected if it was a vendor menu change
- Place on the menu where the change was made (category, product, group, or choice)
Clicking on the Stores Affected links will show the specific stores that were affected by the menu change.
The last column of the Audit Log provides Details links with additional information on each menu change.
You'll be able to review logs for up to 7 days at a time and select a start date/end date to look at a certain time period. We’ve also added search and filtering functionality as well as the option to export the menu log data as a .csv file.
