Add a Customer Facing Message


The customer facing message can be used as a way to communicate information to your customers on your ordering site. This message lives below the store details and above the menu categories, and supports only text, no HTML may be added.

However, if you would like the opportunity to have a message at the top of your menu that supports a hyperlink, please reference Section 1.7 of our Style Guide for more details about the Menu Promotional Banner. You can submit the 2560x512 image in a ticket to our Help Center to get this added. (Please include URL if you would like the image to link out to a new page.)

To edit the customer facing message, follow these steps:

  • Log in to the Dashboard at https://my.olo.com

  • Click on the “Settings” tab on the left side of the screen

  • Select Store Settings

  • Select your store location

  • Select Store Information

  • Add text in the Customer Facing Menu Message field

  • Save Store Settings. The message will be live immediately after being saved
