Olo offers a number of reports through the Dashboard. If you're interested in learning about our Sales & Orders reports, please reference the article here. This article will take you through the Throttling reports we have available.
Tip: Not all of the reports fit within the view screen. Olo recommends exporting the reports to Microsoft Excel for further analysis.
- Log in to the Dashboard.
- Click on the Reports tab on the left side of the screen and then click on Throttling Reports.
- You may be prompted to select a store if you have access to more than one location through your Dashboard. If so, choose the store from the right-hand section and click on Confirm Store Selection.
- Select the Report Type (Prep Minutes by Timeslot or Quantity of throttled products by Timeslot) and the Data Range for the report you would like to generate.
The Prep Minutes by Timeslot report will show every 15-minute increment for the stores in the timeframe selected and will show how many make-time-minutes were used in a given time slot and what the max was set at in the Throttling Matrix. Olo recommends reviewing this article on a periodic basis to determine which are the busiest time slots, which slots may be resulting in users getting throttled and to gain data to adjust the throttling maximums set in the Throttling Matrix.
The Quantity of Throttled Products by Timeslot report will show which items were ordered in each time slot so you can evaluate what items are contributing to a fuller time slot. For example, if you see that the 12:15 - 12:30 pm time slot had its max make time exceeded, you can pull this report to see that customers ordered 23 salads, 14 burgers and 33 drinks, which resulted in it reaching its limit. We hope this report will be helpful in evaluating the throttling effectiveness at your store(s).
Click Generate Report.
- A pop-up window will appear, click Ok and then go to My Reports to visualize your new report.
NOTE: A red icon with a number will appear next to My Reports indicating the number of new reports created.
