Sales & Orders Reports Overview

The Dashboard allows you to pull reports specific to your location(s) and for specific timeframes. This article will give a high-level overview of the different reports that can be run through the Olo Dashboard.

Tip: Once the report has been run, check out the "Recent Reports" section of the Reports tab to download the .xlsx or .csv file and open it in Microsoft Excel or another spreadsheet tool for further analysis.

1. Navigate to the Reports tab within the Olo Dashboard.
   
   
   
   
2. Click the New Report button to begin creating a report.
   
   
   
   
3. Select the Report Category, Report Date Range, and Store Locations for the report you would like to generate.
   
   
   
   There are several pre-configured sales reports available, please review the following definitions to clarify how each report can be used to help you track the success of your Olo online and mobile ordering program. 
   
   

   Report Type	Description
   Daily Placed Orders	Orders placed for a restaurant or group of restaurants by day
   Daily Credit Card Placed Orders	Orders placed for a restaurant or group of restaurants by day, broken out by credit card type
   Daily Credit Card Placed Orders by Store	Orders placed by day, broken out by restaurant and credit card type
   Daily Closed Orders	Orders picked up or delivered (“closed”)
   Closed Orders by Store	Orders picked up or delivered (“closed”), broken out by restaurant
   Cross Sells	Cross Sells count and total revenue for the selected restaurants.  Inclusive of both smart and static cross sells.
   Product Breakdown	Products broken out by restaurant, based on the day of pickup or delivery. Products not ordered for pickup or delivery during the specified time period will not appear on the report.
   Itemized Adjusted Orders	List of adjustments, including both full refunds and sub-total adjustments
   Itemized Cancelled Orders	List of canceled orders
   Time of Day Breakdown	Breakdown of when orders are picked up or delivered, in one hour increments, by restaurant
   Advanced Future Orders Distribution	Breakdown of when orders are placed for, either ASAP or Advance, including how far in Advance, by restaurant
   Itemized Orders	List of orders
   Failed Orders by Store	List of failed orders
   Blocked Fraud Orders	List of blocked fraud orders, broken out by restaurant
   Coupon Redemptions	List of coupons redeemed, broken out by restaurant and order
   POS Outages	List of all stores that have experienced an outage, or an offline period, over the time period selected. For more information refer to our POS Outages Report article.
   Coupon Setup Information	List of all active, archived, and expired coupon setups
   Loyalty Reward Redemptions	Lists of orders containing loyalty reward redemption
   Third Party Coupon Redemptions	List of orders that contains third-party coupon

4. Click Generate Report.
   
   
5. Once the report has been run, check out the Recent Reports section of the Reports tab to view or download the .xlsx or .csv file and open it in Microsoft Excel or another spreadsheet tool for further analysis.
